A soothing and immune boosting drink, and a great substitute for coffee!
- 1c almond milk
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (Ceylon preferably, rather than Cassia: it will not thicken your drink as much, plus it’s supposed to be healthier)
- 1/8 tsp ginger powder
- pinch black, pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- Warm up the cup of milk in the microwave (1 min at max power)
- Add spices, blend well (I love these mini whisks)
- Sweeten as desired
