I started my day at the MoMA yesterday… Did you know that Jackson Pollock died in a car accident at age 44?
I didn’t. I am amazed at the amount of art he produced and the notoriety he acquired in such a short time.
I liked some of his stuff. The lady in the raincoat did too!
There was also an exhibit about how WWII had impacted representations of figure.
This sculpture reminded me of a puppet moving its own strings:
